Sarah Landis

Sarah Landis

Placement Specialist & Aging Care manager

As a child in a blended family, Sarah Landis had a lot of grandparents. To this day she uses blankets crocheted by one, makes jams and jellies taught by one and cakes and pies taught by another, and has many mementos from others. Some of her best memories were made with her Granny while living in senior living communities in the 1980s.

It’s no surprise she found herself working in the senior living
industry and loving the opportunity to help older people live their best lives. She’s worked in positions in communities across the country and enjoyed every moment of it! Along the way, she has been able to use her experiences and connections within her own family, as well as her friends’ families.
After many years working in communities, Sarah is excited to use her experiences, both from work and home, to help families understand their options and make the best choice. One of her memories of going through this with her own family is how hard it is, both emotionally and logistically, so she’s happy to have the opportunity to make a difference for them in their process.
Sarah moved to Atlanta several years ago, where she lives with her partner, Tim. She has three grown children, three grandchildren, and two rescue dogs. She attended the University of Phoenix, where she completed a Master of Business Administration and a second in Marketing. She enjoys traveling, time at the beach, and walking the trails around metro Atlanta. She also loves baking and cooking, particularly with a farm-to-fork focus, and is enjoying getting to know the local farms and options around Atlanta.

Gina O'Brien

Gina O'Brien

Placement Specialist & Aging Care Manager

As a girl, Gina always wanted to spend time with her older aunts, uncles, and her grandparents, just talking, sharing stories, and learning… just being present.

She had many to visit, being a part of a large Italian extended family in San Antonio, Texas. When her grandmothers needed dementia care outside of their homes, she enjoyed visiting and meeting the caring staff. Her aunt was a true inspiration. “She cared for the caregivers as well as my grandmothers. I knew that I wanted to be like her one day and truly make a difference in the lives of seniors.”

Gina graduated from The University of Georgia’s School of Family and Consumer Sciences with a journalism degree, but she always knew that serving seniors was her true passion. Most recently, Gina has enjoyed working with seniors in the adult daycare setting and working as a hospice care specialist for families, physicians, and in senior communities in the north Atlanta areas. She enjoys educating and being a resource for all seniors.

Gina has been married to Jim for 27 years, and she has four children and many pets. In her spare time, she enjoys music, dancing, baking, and being active in her church community.
